Thank you
Thank you for a wonderful program so full of features. I have been using MaxxPI since its very beginning and will always use it. It is not only a program for the beginner but also for the experienced as so much can be done with it.
I am now 55yrs old & been on the net for 20yrs now & have not seen another program, so simple with so many features, that I have continously used day-to-day that compares to this.
Let me hope that all who use it will DONATE (in the future) to keep this wonderful program FREE for the normal user.
Good Luck for the Future.

You can try to use the contact form!
Ritm wrote at October 28, 2009 - 11:21 AM:
HT Cores (edit)
This hyper-threading cores is virtual, they dont exist, only real do the work. In most cases hyper-threading could be disabled with out major loss in performance or even gain. Unfair to compare old 8-core Xeons with new 4-core i7. As example from TOP10-flop, why 2006 year Xeon X5460 @3159Mhz beats 2008 year Core i7-940 @3680Mhz by 21.5% if they both 8-cores, while Core i5-750 @4105Mhz beats Core 2 Quad Q9550 @4000Mhz by 27%, which is right for last two 4-cores. Note that Xeons and Quads is almost the same, except Xeons usually do pairs.
Administrator wrote at October 28, 2009 - 12:07 PM:
MaxxPI counts HTT cores as real, like host OS MS-Windows it does. Surely they have not the same performance like real cores because they are virualy. That is the main reason for dual Xeon <> i7 920/860.
[This is not a discussion place, for further informations contact me via CONTACT page]
Ritm wrote at October 27, 2009 - 02:13 AM:
TOP10
Why is Core i7 qualified as 8-cores? It has only 4, while Xeons and Opterons is 2x4-core CPU, true.
Oh, and program is cool. It differs from another flop-benchmark tester only by 2.45%. Cool.
Administrator wrote at October 27, 2009 - 05:10 AM:
Intels i7 series contains 4real and 4HTT cores (Hyper-Threading technology).

hey guys, nice multithreaded program, but have a look at this: (link removed) it seems there is (was) a virus inside some of your programs, probably you should make a hint for your users.
Administrator wrote at October 2, 2009 - 12:48 PM:
An older version (v1.07) was unfortunately infected with an harmless virus.
This has been removed immediately.
